After breakfast today we packed lunches and headed up to the house. Daniel had some work to do so we went to keep him occupied and played outside. Danny didn’t want to stop playing for a picture but Mommy said please. 🙂

Our garage doors are in; however, the electric isn’t hooked up to them yet. They look so pretty!! Ekkkk!!
After playing and having lunch, Danny and I went for a walk in the stroller. He fell asleep super fast. All that fresh air is tiring! I then transferred him to the back of my jeep where he slept like a brick.
Back to the house. So the house is officially insulated. Inspection is cleared and we are now waiting for the sheet rock order to arrive so we can start that! The echo in the house is gone. We are just moving right along.
- Below is the basement insulated.
Another super exciting job that was started was our front porch steps. They framed those out and will soon be ready to pour!
What I love about this property is that it’s so quiet. It’s so peaceful but also at night can be creepy. I think I just need to get used to it. One thing that is nice though, when a car pulls on the street from the main road, you can hear it. The birds and the wind blowing through the tree’s are the loudest though. It’s just beautiful. Did i mention we have walking/hiking trails all around us? Here is a look at our house and to the right of it is a walking trail.
I was able to get some pictures of builder Dan too. 🙂 He is so annoyed. Hehe
Daniel also took out the last tree that was in our backyard. We tried to keep it but in the end it just had to go. Here is a video of him cutting that bad boy to the ground. We are going to have firewood for years!
Since Daniel cut the tree down, the backyard has been graded a little better. He still has some work to do until we can lay seed down. I hope it’s soon so we can have some grass before the winter time.
I had to cut the volume and add some music due to Daniel’s foul mouth. LOL
Thank for popping in!! Until next “blog”
