Hi there! We are the three D’s.

Dana, Daniel and Danny.

I first met Daniel in 2012 on my 24th birthday. It was a night I would never forget. We met through a mutual friend at an apartment clubhouse that I lived at. It was love at first sight. We’ve had our up’s and down’s and there was even a time when we split apart. It was hard at first for me to understand his work ethic. I wanted more time with him. At the time, he didn’t have much of that to give me. But once we parted ways, It wasn’t long after that I realized there is no one else I wanted to spend the rest of my life with than him. And here we are. ♥

In 2015, we had our first son, Danny. He has truly been a blessing to us. I am so lucky to be able to spend my days at home with him. It was a decision that at first I wasn’t to fond of. I was always a hard worker. I had a passion for dentistry and working with a team. But, someone told me that your children are only young for a little while and if you have the opportunity, seize it. And that is exactly what I am doing. I am so thankful and Daniel knows that.

Ever since Daniel was young it was his dream to buy land and build a home. About a year into our relationship we were on the hunt for land that would feel like home. This property is the third property we walked together.

One of Daniel’s favorite things to do is hunt so for him to be able to do that on his own property was a life goal of his. Anyone who knows him knows how hard he works. He didn’t just wake up one day and was able to buy this land. Daniel started a business when he was 21. This dream was not just put into his hands. He has sacrificed friendships, relationships, time with his family, sleepless nights, working 7 days a week sun up to sun down. I can honestly say no one in this world deserves this more than him.

I am so fortunate and grateful to be able to be on such an amazing journey like this.

In my blog you will find the timeline of our progress in building, links to furniture that was bought, lighting fixtures, and home decor. Once construction is complete and we move in, I plan on continuing this blog to share family recipes, family memories, and much more!
