Here we are, running into the last weeks of building. This house is slowly turning into home. I get the jitters driving up there knowing in just a couple months we should be moved in!
Our stucco and stone is coming along fast!! We chose eggshell white stucco with some neutral looking farmhouse stone! I can’t wait to see the finished result without all the scaffolds in sight.
The inside is coming along just as nice!
The interior has been sheet rocked and the spackling is complete. We just got our hardwood floors delivered last week so Dan turned the air conditioner on to an average temperature so they can acclimate in our house before they are nailed down.
We have the trim work being done now along with the installation of the interior doors. Once completed, the house will be primer sprayed. Looks like I better get a move on finding interior colors for each room!! 🙂
Our deck is being installed now as well!! From the sounds of it, that should be close to being done by next week!!
After we have the hardwoods floors in we can begin our Kitchen and Bathrooms!
We designed our Kitchen layout months ago and had our order all written up. So that is super exciting and a huge lift off of the checklist. It’s just a matter of completing the order so they can deliver in 2 weeks. We chose our backsplash and grout colors, and also bought all kitchen appliances. I can’t wait for our first night settled so I can make a super delish DINNER! 🙂
We also chose the tile for each bathrooms design. The order is already placed and we are almost ready for take off in that department.
On a Sunday Funday note:
We had some fun while up the house today. (Like usual) Danny is so comfortable up the house and that makes me feel so happy. I pray and hope he transitions well. Like every other time, he got super muddy today. He also enjoyed playing with the dust piles inside. Boys will be boys.
Memory down Green Lane 
Is there a mud room ….so Danny can keep playing in the dirt. How can you pick the paint colors….do you have all the furniture picked out already? Maybe the furniture from the house in East Norriton is coming with you. Everything looks great. I especially like the stone work on the house. I’ve always loved stone houses! Danny will do great out there….you gonna have to stick a GPS tracker on him somewhere….he’s never gonna want to go in. There is so much fun stuff to do outside!!! So…a couple of months. I guess we’re talking moving in the middle to the end of September. That’s quick! I’m so happy for you. All three of you, I should have said. Everything else will work itself out.
